Infosteel cares about your privacy.
We will limit the asked information to the real minimium required for operating the online shop.
Which data is stored
When visitors place orders on the site we collect the data shown in the orders forms, and also the visitor’s IP address, the country from which the internet-access is made and the browser user agent string.
An anonymized string created from your email address or any URL in the body of the email (also called a hash) may be created to see if you are using it ; the service provider used for this is Mailjet. The Mailjet service privacy policy is available online.
Online payment information
If a user chooses to make an online payment, no payment-data is stored by shop.infosteel.eu. The processing of the online payment is serviced by Mollie. The Mollie service privacy policy is available online.
Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in and/or add products to the basket, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your choices. Login cookies last for two days, and other options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Affiliates
Affiliate marketing is the process of earning income every time you promote someone elses products or services. If you generate a sale by that promotion for the company, you get paid. If you don’t generate a sale, you do not get paid.
Some products on shop.infosteel.eu are promoted by affiliates. In that case sales information (who, what, at what price) is shared with the affiliate. For some services (“subscriptions”) available on shop.infosteel.be, Infosteel acts as reseller. To allow the original publisher/service provider to perform his tasks, it is often necessary to provide this orginal publisher/service provider with all or some of the data provided by the buyer towards Infosteel.
